presence

for those looking for an intentional way to be photographed.

seeing you in ways that help you better see yourself.

where photography meets self-discovery.

presence is a Photo Experience that invites you to EXPLORE, play, experiment and be present.

presence was born from the knowing that being truly seen without performative pressure or a false sense of perfectionism can be healing, even liberating.

This offering is for those ready to show up honestly, to be witnessed with care, and to remember their own presence as art.

A photograph has the power to reveal what’s been overlooked, to reflect back the truth we’ve been avoiding or to aid us in making peace with a side of ourselves we never fully embraced.

Photos can be used to reconnect us to who we are.

presence isn’t just something you do once. It’s something you can return to again and again with each new season of self.

This work is rooted in the belief that creating ART, self-allowance, rest, and play are restorative and regenerative.

Inside that kind of space, something shifts.

Each time you participate in The Presence, you meet yourself where you are. The results can’t be measured but a time will be had and art is inevitable.

THIS ISN’T ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHING A FIXED VERSION OF YOU. IT’S ABOUT HONORING THE UNFOLDING, THE YOU IN-FLUX AND GIVING YOURSELF THE SPACE TO WITNESS IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

the process

PRE-SESSION

Together, we’ll shape the vibe, discussing wardrobe, energy, and overall flow. Every Photo Experience is completely unique. Some are extravagant and styled to the nines. Others are soft, minimal, and pared down. Some unfold in studio; others out in nature, at home, or wherever best matches the essence of your session.

THE EXPERIENCE

It is different experience every time. You’re not being rushed. You’re not being posed, rather guided. You’re being held in a space where you can play and your presence can emerge. I document what unfolds.

POST-SESSION

Just a few days after the session you’ll receive a link to a collection of downloadable images that reflect more than just how you looked. Many describe it as revealing, affirming, or even therapeutic.
