What is The Photo Experience?

The Photo Experience is a unique, immersive session designed to be more than just a photo shoot. It’s an artistic and therapeutic journey where we slow down, explore self-expression, and capture images that feel raw, powerful, and deeply personal.

How is it different from your other photography sessions?

Every session I offer is deeply intentional and influenced by the principles of The Photo Experience but this offering is the purest form of that approach. While portrait sessions, model digitals, and commercial shoots may be more structured to fit specific needs, The Photo Experience is about exploration, emotion, and creative flow without any commercial constraints.

Do I need to be a model or have experience in front of the camera?

Not at all! The Photo Experience is designed for everyone, whether you’re comfortable in front of the camera or have never done a photo shoot before. I guide you through the process, making it organic and intuitive.

How long does The Photo Experience last?

Each session varies, but generally, expect 3 to 4 hours, allowing time for conversation, movement, and intentional image-making.

How does a portrait session differ from The Photo Experience?

A portrait session is a structured yet still deeply intentional photoshoot designed to capture you in a way that aligns with your personal or professional needs. It still carries the essence of The Photo Experience (a mindful, storytelling-driven approach) but is customized to fit your specific goals, whether that’s branding, editorial, or personal portraits.

Where do portrait sessions take place?

Sessions can take place outdoors, in a studio, or at a meaningful location that fits your vision. I also offer recommendations if you need inspiration!

Can I bring multiple outfits?

Absolutely! I recommend bringing 2-3 outfits for variety.

Do you provide hair and makeup services?

I don’t offer in-house hair and makeup, but I can recommend trusted artists to collaborate with.

How do I book a session?

Do I get to choose which photos are in black & white or color?

I deliver a thoughtfully curated mix of color and black & white images. The edit is determined by the energy of each photo and what best serves the story, emotion, and overall aesthetic. Every image is edited with care and intention, and final editing decisions (including color treatment and toning) are ultimately up to me as the artist.

If you have a strong preference (i.e. “I love black & white!” or “I’d prefer mostly color”), feel free to share that in your intake form, and I’ll keep it in mind while editing.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO RETAIN YOUR SERVICES?

Because my work is fully custom and tailored to each client’s needs, I provide personalized quotes and proposals for every project. That said, my simplest offerings begin at $200, and pricing scales depending on scope, deliverables, and creative direction.

What payment methods do you accept?

I accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, and direct bank transfers. A deposit is required to secure your session.

Do you offer payment plans?
