ABOUT ZOA

Born, raised and currently based out of Atlanta, Georgia, Zoa is a multidimensional visual artist, photographer, model, and creative director whose work lives at the intersection of presence, storytelling, and transformation. With over 15 years in the creative industry, Zoa moves fluidly between mediums, photography, film-making, consulting, modeling, and experimental video, approaching each with an intuitive, intentional eye. Her signature offering, The Photo Experience, is a slow and artful portrait session designed to help people feel truly seen not just in the images created, but in the process itself.

Zoa’s personal work is deeply rooted in photographic anthropology, using the lens as a tool for witnessing and honoring the stories of everyday people in their environments. Her editorial/documentary-style portraits are meditations on identity, presence, and the quiet impact of being seen.

As a model, Zoa approaches being in front of the lens as a practice of reclamation and representation. Modeling isn’t separate from her photo work, it’s how she stays connected to the experience she guides others through. It’s how she practices what she holds space for. This embodied perspective deepens her approach behind the camera, allowing her to lead with even more empathy, care, and clarity.

Zoa doesn't take photos, she gives photos.
